This pattern is a crowd pleaser for sure. Simple and beautiful all at the same time. While my version is punched using hand dyed rug yarn and an oxford punch, this could also be hooked with wool strips and a hook. The monk's cloth pattern is better suited for punching and the linen for rug hooking, but preference is surely the deciding factor.
