To complete this you will need wool strips (or yarn) and the proper tools such as a hook and a frame or hoop.
The chicken pattern is charming vintage pattern with a very folksy appeal. The chickens and woman are in the primitive style but easy to hook. The original piece was hooked with scraps of cottons, jute and other recycled materials.
The monk's cloth & linen are high quality, and measures approximately 24"x24" with ample border to fit your rug frame or hoop. The project is approximately a 14" circle, but could easily be expanded beyond the border.
