Learn how to sew this sweet little needle book with Hope Horn from Hope’s Favorite Things.

The class will occur on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 11 am - 2 pm.

Perfect your blanket stitch with this sweet primitive wool needle/notions keeper.

This penny "sunflower" I worked on the front cover is a sample of stitched folk art that was made out of scrap wool and fabrics in the 1800s by rural American women.

If you have never stitched a penny before or you want to perfect some appliqué stitches, this project is the one to make,. You can stitch as much as you like on and in it and keep your favorite notions.

All wool pieces will be precut so we have ample time to work in class or to make and take home for your personal sewing time.

A needle and threads will also be supplied.

Please bring ;

-pair of scissors

-straight pins

-favorite scrap pieces of cotton fabric for binding and personalizing your very own needle keepsake book!
